'Myra Tran is truly terrifying and fierce'

Myra Tran has just released a new music video titled "Mouth Touching Lips," a collaboration with rapper Binz. It's a song composed by August with an upbeat melody.

Previously associated with ballads, Myra Tran has undergone a transformation in both image and vocals. The singer's alluring and rebellious look in this comeback has been highly praised.

The singer admitted that she wanted to break out of her comfort zone, not only showcasing her vocals but also her dance skills. Therefore, in this project, Myra Tran wants to show the audience a new and more energetic image.

As a close friend and senior colleague, Truong Giang exclaimed , " The music is so good and catchy!" after watching this music video.

Speaking about Myra Tran, the male artist confided: "I was very surprised by this girl. We've toured together many times. When performing, she usually sings about 3-4 songs. Each time, she'll 'suspend her vocal cords' for about 15 minutes, but she just stands in one place. However, today was truly terrifying and intense."

"This girl was also very sweet to invite me to this launch four months ago. Today, I feel I deserved to be here to hear Myra sing. I never expected her to grow up so incredibly," Truong Giang shared.

Furthermore, MC Trac Thuy Mieu also praised Myra Tran's talent. She shared: "I want to thank them for the amazing idea for a talent like Myra Tran. Responding to her colleagues' comments, Myra Tran also affirmed that this is the most heavily invested project in her music career.

Regarding the money spent on this music video, Myra Tran revealed that she used up "half a year's salary." "All the money for this project was saved from my performance fees starting over a year ago. That's also when I took off my mask on The Mask Singer Vietnam 2022," the singer stated.

Speaking about her collaboration with Binz, Myra Tran also surprised everyone by revealing that despite having a joint project, the two had never met in person.

"I really appreciate collaborating with Binz on this project. The rap part in the song is amazing. To be honest, we haven't met in person yet, so we're not close. All the work was arranged by our managers. Therefore, even though the project is finished, we don't have any memorable moments to share," Myra added.

Myra Tran, whose real name is Tran Minh Nhu, was born in 1999. In 2016, she won the X-Factor competition. Despite this title as a springboard and possessing an impressive voice, she failed to make a significant impact on the Vietnamese music market. Afterward, she unexpectedly moved to the United States to live with her parents and younger brother. In 2019, Minh Nhu proved her talent by reaching the Top 40 of American Idol.

In 2022, Myra Tran participated in the first season of Masked Singer under the image of Lady May. From her very first appearances, she amazed the judges and audience with her bright and confident high notes.

Having made it to the top 3 of the competition, Myra Tran received much love from the audience. Her song "Anh chưa thương em đến vậy đâu" (You haven't loved me that much yet) became a huge hit throughout the past year.
