According to data from the District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, as of now, the entire district has harvested more than 100 hectares of rice, concentrated in the following localities: Vuong Loc, Khanh Vinh Yen, Tung Loc, Dong Loc...

According to initial assessments, despite unfavorable weather conditions from the beginning of the season with prolonged heatwaves, thanks to close guidance and timely recommendations from specialized agencies, farmers focused on planting according to the seasonal schedule and caring for the crops according to technical procedures, so the 2023 summer-autumn rice crop is still growing well. The average yield for the entire district is expected to reach 53.48 quintals/hectare (compared to 53.31 quintals/hectare in the 2022 summer-autumn crop).

Following the principle of "better to harvest early than late," Can Loc will accelerate the harvesting of the summer-autumn rice crop from now on, with the peak around September 5th.

To facilitate the harvesting process for local people, the district has also directed localities to compile statistics on the number of harvesting machines operating in their areas in order to work with machine owners regarding temporary residence registration; to standardize prices, harvesting areas, and widely disseminate information so that people are well-informed.
