Episode 2 of the 2023 "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves" competition continues to feature individual performances from 14 contestants. In this episode, Dieu Nhi received much attention for confidently showcasing her singing abilities.

Contrary to what most viewers might think, Dieu Nhi chose to perform her hit song "Chìm sâu" (Sink Deep) with only vocals and no choreography.

Before going on stage, Dieu Nhi frankly declared that she would not vote for any of the female contestants vying for the leader position because she craved the role. Completing her performance smoothly, Dieu Nhi received a score of 78.

Sharing with the advisory board, Dieu Nhi confided: "This is my first solo performance, and whether I debut as a singer or not depends on the reaction after this song. If the reaction is good, then I will pursue a singing career."

Director Tran Thanh Trung frankly commented that while her singing voice isn't her most powerful weapon, she has bravely performed on stage. Therefore, Dieu Nhi deserves support. However, the advisory board agreed that Dieu Nhi's current ability to be a group leader is still insufficient.

The actress revealed that this song was written by her husband, Anh Tú. Notably, singer Dương Hoàng Yến helped Diệu Nhi with vocal training, teaching her how to sing to fully convey the emotions through the lyrics. The rap lyrics in the performance were written by Lăng LD, and the male vocals at the beginning of the song were by Wren Evan. She confidently declared that her team is very strong, but it's a case of "everyone sings their own song."

Despite not receiving a high score, Dieu Nhi still tried to persuade the other contestants to join her team in the following rounds.

In this episode, Hong Nhung performed a bilingual version of the song " Fly Me to the Moon ." Her performance impressed the judges and the other contestants. Hong Nhung received 88 points. Despite the high score, she jokingly asked the judges why they didn't give her a perfect score. "This is the first time in my life, since I was 15, that someone has given me a score!" she said.

In addition, other artists in episode 2 also delighted the audience with their performances. Giang Hong Ngoc performed the song "So" (Afraid) in a glowing outfit, scoring 85 points; Doan Trang was disappointed with only 83 points; Lynk Lee recreated the hit "Buon thi cu khoc di" (Just Cry When You're Sad) with impressive choreography, scoring 81 points; Tu Vi showcased her sweet and warm voice in the performance of "Giac mo ngay xua" (Dream of the Past), scoring 83 points; Thanh Ngoc - former member of Mat Ngoc - scored 86 points.

Phuong Vy received 87 points, Huong Ly 83 points, and Mlee 80 points. Near the bottom of the leaderboard were Dieu Nhi and Van Hugo with 78 points.

After episode 2 of "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves," Hong Nhung and Trang Phap are leading with 88 points. Meanwhile, Hoang Oanh is temporarily in last place with 76 points.
