According to the Federal Security Service (FSB), in February, Yury Denisov traveled from Kiev through Latvia, then entered Russia. Yury Denisov provided the explosive devices used in the bombing of Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky. After carrying out the bombing, the subject left Russia in early April.
The FSB said that on April 2, Yury Denisov used an intermediary to deliver the bomb to Darya Trepova - the woman who brought the explosive device to a cafe in Petersburg where Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky was holding a talk.

The bomb exploded, killing Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky and injuring dozens of others. Yury Denisov left Russia the next day, traveling via Armenia and Türkiye.
Before the assassination, Yury Denisov was in the Moscow region. Russia has issued an international arrest warrant for the suspect.
According to FSB images, the suspect used his Ukrainian driver's license and altered personal information to buy a used car in Moscow. This was to distract attention and bypass customs control at the Russian border.
Russian authorities described the bombing as an " act of terrorism" and blamed Ukrainian intelligence services for staging the incident.
Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maksim Fomin), 40, is a supporter of Russia's military campaign in Ukraine and regularly reports on the war from the front lines on his Telegram channel. He also reports directly from the Ukrainian battlefield. He has also written several books on the conflict.
On the evening of April 2, a bomb exploded as he met with supporters at a cafe in downtown Saint Petersburg. The explosion killed him and injured more than 30 people.
Vladlen Tatarsky is originally from Donbass. He joined the militia that confronted the Ukrainian army after the coup in Kiev in 2014.
