"The Strekoza UAV is designed to detect mines with electronic fuses, as well as homemade radio-controlled explosive devices," said Igor Stukalo.
According to this Technical Director, the product works as follows: the detector is installed under the belly of the UAV, and at the command of the operator, it begins to circle above the area to be scanned. If there is a mine with an electronic fuse on the ground, a red flag will appear on the control screen.
"Strekoza has remote detonation devices used to detonate discovered mines," he said.
This UAV weighs 12 kg and has a flight time of 50 minutes.
The Strekoza kit also includes 4 pairs of batteries and a charger, the device operates in both manual and automatic modes.
The representative of the Protection Group-UTTA noted that Strekoza was transferred to the Russian military for trial operation and received positive feedback. According to him, the equipment has proven its effectiveness, including in the area of special military operations.
Technical director Igor Stukalo said: "Usually, the enemy has installed minefields there for a long time, such mines often have electronic fuses. The drone has been tested by the Ministry of Defense and the National Guard of Russia, with positive results.
The customer reported that our equipment can be used in special military operations areas, even deep into the field up to 15-20 km.
