Speaking at the program, Tran Doan Tien, Editor-in-Chief of the Children's Health Magazine, emphasized that caring for children, especially vulnerable children, is not only a responsibility but also a measure of the humane and sustainable development of society.
"A society is only truly civilized when every child has the opportunity to be loved, to learn, to play, and to develop. What children need is sometimes not grand things, but rather care, encouragement, the opportunity to go to school, to live in a safe environment, and to be loved by the community," Mr. Tran Doan Tien stated.
At the program, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities Ngo Sach Thuc affirmed that the event contributed to spreading the spirit of compassion and mobilizing the community to join hands in supporting disabled children and children with particularly difficult circumstances.

The goal of these support activities goes beyond simply providing care or gifts; it aims to provide long-term companionship to children with disabilities on their journey to adulthood and social integration. It facilitates their access to career guidance, vocational training, skill development, and the search for suitable employment opportunities in the future. Simultaneously, it connects businesses and consumers with products made by children with disabilities.
At the event, many practical activities for children were organized, such as: free health check-ups and consultations in nutrition, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, dentistry, and mental health; play areas, experiential activities, and interactive activities; "zero-cost" booths; community charity activities; an exhibition area showcasing products made by children with disabilities; and a music gala, art performances, and children's fashion show.

Within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee, in coordination with the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department ( Ministry of Public Security ), organized a thematic workshop on protecting children in cyberspace, aiming to equip them with knowledge and skills for safe internet use; and a training program on preventing accidents and injuries to children.
In addition, a seminar titled "Multidisciplinary Approach in Diagnosis, Counseling, and Psychotherapy for Children with Developmental Disorders" was organized, contributing to raising community awareness about children's mental health and providing information and support solutions for parents and caregivers.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented many meaningful gifts along with 2,000 free eye examinations for disabled children and children in special circumstances; and awarded certificates of merit, commendations, and commemorative medals to individuals, units, and businesses that have made significant contributions and provided support over the past period.
