For the 2025-2026 academic year, the Asian Mathematical Olympiad Preliminary Round will be held in three stages. Each contestant is only allowed to participate in one stage, and the stage taking place tomorrow (February 1st) is the final one.
In each exam period, the test is divided into three sessions according to each grade level.

Specifically, the session for high school students is from 8:00 to 9:00 (the time when the exam begins).
Session for junior high school students: from 9:00 to 10:00 (Exam start time)
Class for elementary school students: from 10:00 to 11:00 (Exam start time)
Candidates need to log into the system 15 minutes before the exam to check their equipment and be ready to enter the exam room.
Candidates should note that while taking the exam, they must absolutely not exit the exam screen or switch to another window, and should not allow others to assist them.
Candidates take the exam, check their results, and submit their papers within the allotted time. If a candidate exceeds the allotted time, the system will automatically submit their paper when the time runs out.
Families and candidates need to prepare a computer with a good internet connection.
Contestants are responsible for strictly adhering to the regulations of the Organizing Committee. This includes: completing the test honestly and not using unauthorized materials; not having someone else take the test for them or using multiple accounts; providing accurate information during registration and completing the test within the allotted time; any fraudulent activity will result in disqualification and disqualification from subsequent rounds.

The Asian Mathematical Olympiad (AIMO) was first organized in 2012 by the Asian Mathematical Olympiad Committee, with the annual participation of approximately 150,000 students from more than 20 countries and territories, including: China, Japan, South Korea, Russia, India, Brazil, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Bulgaria, Turkey, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia… .
Vietnam officially joined AIMO in 2019 and quickly established its position with over 220 international medals.
In 2025 alone, Vietnam achieved its highest ever results with the Championship title, 10 Gold Medals, 7 Silver Medals, and 4 Bronze Medals, affirming Vietnamese intelligence on the international mathematics map.
