Nghe An - Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh and the green tourism journey

On the afternoon of April 11th, within the framework of the VITM Hanoi International Tourism Fair, the three provinces of Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, and Ninh Binh jointly organized the Conference on Tourism Promotion and Advertising for Nghe An - Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh "Green Tourism Journey".

Attending the conference were: Mr. Ha Van Sieu - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration; Mr. Nguyen Manh Than - Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association, President of the Hanoi Tourism Association.

Comrades Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An; Bui Van Manh - Director of the Department of Tourism of Ninh Binh; and Vuong Thi Hai Yen - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa presided over the conference.

With their diverse natural and cultural tourism resources and potential advantages, Nghe An , Thanh Hoa, and Ninh Binh are becoming a bridge connecting tourism regions across the country. In recent years, collaborative tourism development activities among the three localities have received increasing attention, particularly in the promotion, marketing, and communication of unique and new tourism products, stimulating tourism development.

This is the 5th year that the provinces of Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, and Ninh Binh have jointly organized the Tourism Promotion Conference to enhance the effectiveness of exploiting linked tourism tours among the provinces, connecting them into a journey with many attractive experiences, contributing to positioning the tourism brand, and attracting domestic and international tourists to the localities.

At the conference, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province presented an overview of the province's tourism, focusing on attractive tourism products such as beach and island tourism, resort tourism, cultural and historical tourism associated with the exploitation of heritage and historical sites, MICE tourism, golf tourism, new rural tourism, and ecotourism and resort tourism products.

On this occasion, the three provinces also organized a networking event between tourism businesses in the provinces and businesses from the North and other localities. The program aimed to introduce products, services, and promotional packages, while also promoting business cooperation in the tourism sector.

In his remarks at the conference, Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, noted that the three localities have been effectively exploiting tourism products and need to continue developing more attractive packages for tourists. He emphasized the need to focus not only on promotions but also on creating new, outstanding products to attract domestic and international visitors. He stressed the importance of strengthening tourism stimulus efforts in 2025, promoting cooperation and collaboration, and enhancing tourism promotion and communication through new methods and smart tourism applications to attract tourists.
