Artist Binh Tinh and her daughter - child actress Bella
On the evening of June 21, at Truong Hung Minh Art Stage, the audience not only witnessed a children's play filled with laughter but also witnessed a touching moment of art.
Child actress Bella - daughter of artist Binh Tinh - unexpectedly replaced her mother in the main role of Princess Big Nose in the play "Princess Big Nose and the Meo Meo Kingdom" (directed by Chanh Truc), and performed excellently to the surprise of her and her fellow artists.
Without any prior practice or "proper education", Bella just sat quietly watching her mother practice and perform in previous shows.
But on the night of June 21, when Binh Tinh suddenly could not continue her role, the whole crew had to make a "brain-wrenching" decision to let little Bella try.
Under the worried eyes of Meritorious Artist Minh Nhi and the entire stage lighting crew, the little girl stepped out and did something that no one expected, which was that she knew all the lines and performed every detail of the role from beginning to end. Sharing on her personal page, artist Binh Tinh both proudly and humorously exclaimed:
"Without even one practice session, just sitting and watching mom perform, today Bella replaced mom as the main character from beginning to end. It was really scary, not a joke...".

Not only did Bella make her mother "fall to second place" next week (on June 28, Bella will officially perform with her child co-star Yuri in the next two shows), but she also received a "shower of compliments" from colleagues and the audience. Binh Tinh shared more: "All the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and artists in the show said that Bella did not miss a single detail in the role, and probably knows the script better than her mother."
The moment her daughter first stepped into the professional spotlight, to "save" her mother - who was the champion of "Sao noi ngoi", the successor of many generations of the Cai luong family - made her mother's heart both tighten and bloom with pride.
She wittily concluded her feelings: "After one night, she officially dropped to second place, lost her role, it's really miserable. ka ka." - Artist Binh Tinh exclaimed in her joy.

A new generation on Truong Hung Minh stage appears? That is the question that many artists expressed because with the participation of child actors like Bella and Yuri, combined with professional artists, the play "Princess Big Nose and the Meo Meo Kingdom" promises to be a place to train many young talents for the stage.
When asked about his feelings after the performance, Meritorious Artist Minh Nhi - the person who guided both Binh Tinh and the young generation of actors to the stage - just smiled gently and said: "I just hope that after tonight, Binh Tinh will "diligently" give more roles to her daughter." One performance, one "change of roles", an unforgettable milestone in the artistic journey of both mother and daughter. Both are members of the Huynh Long family, the place that nurtured many generations of traditional opera actors. And who knows, from the lights of June 21, a "little princess Bella" has officially... confidently followed in her mother's footsteps.

Artist Binh Tinh's daughter is named Cat Tien, often called Bella, and she started performing with her mother on the Huynh Long stage since she was very young.
Bella played many small roles in cai luong plays, including the role of a prince in the play "Xu an Phi Giao" and the role of a princess in another play, performing with her mother and artists of the Huynh Long troupe.
