Unlike Hoa Minzy's usual cheerful and cheerful personality, the MV launch of "Pain in the Middle of Peace" on the evening of August 22 in Hanoi was more quiet and emotional.
Tears fell from the main character to friends, artists, and audiences when watching the MV and listening to Hoa Minzy sing passionately about the pain of wives and mothers whose children died on the battlefield, the pain in the midst of peace.

Hoa Minzy: "Everyone keeps asking why I love my country so much"
Hoa Minzy not only cried because of the touching story in the MV project that she considered very important in her career, she also had her own emotions when she suddenly lost her grandfather - a veteran, to whom she was very attached.
Hoa Minzy's grandfather, Major Nguyen Van Ky, suddenly passed away in his hometown of Bac Ninh right before his beloved granddaughter released a heartfelt MV to pay tribute to people like him.
In a black ao dai, in the last minutes of the MV launch ceremony, Hoa Minzy asked to talk about her grandfather. She said he was a veteran who participated in many campaigns, was a battalion commander, and commanded 300 ammunition trucks to the battlefield.
In peace he continued to work in the army, after retiring he was a major: "Everyone keeps asking why I love my country so much. Maybe it's because I'm the grandson of a hero, he deserves to be called a hero.
Right now, he should be sitting here smiling brightly, proudly saying: "We are so proud, we praise you so much, my child". Why are you lying there without saying a word to me all morning?", Hoa Minzy made the whole audience silent.

'My own child, why don't you remember?'
People's Artist Nhu Quynh - who plays the mother in Hoa Minzy's MV - was very impressed when Hoa Minzy invited a 100-year-old Vietnamese Heroic Mother from her hometown of Bac Ninh to attend the MV launch, so that her mother would be the first audience to see the touching film Hoa Minzy dedicated to those great mothers.
That is Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Can. At the age of 100, she is still lucid, praising the touching MV, the touching song and sharing that she still misses her sacrificed son: "I still miss him very much, my son was born from my own womb, why don't I miss him?"

Pain in the Middle of Peace is the song in the movie Red Rain, composed by Nguyen Van Chung for singer Hoa Minzy under the order of Army Cinema, director Dang Thai Huyen.
The song praises the great sacrifices of heroic Vietnamese wives and mothers whose husbands and children died on the battlefield and shares their lingering pain in peace.
After listening to Nguyen Van Chung's composition, Hoa Minzy decided to make an independent MV.
She still chose director Nhu Dang - her collaborator in Bac Bling, invited actor Phuong Nam who played Ta - the captain of Squad 1 in Red Rain to play the role of the husband and People's Artist Nhu Quynh to play the role of the mother-in-law.
Artist Nhu Quynh said this was the first time she participated in a music video.
The MV Pain in Peace, in addition to the scenes filmed by the crew at Truong Son Cemetery and the rear setting in Duong Lam ancient village, also uses some very emotional battlefield scenes from the movie Red Rain.
Hoa Minzy said that this is the product that made her cry the most in her career so far.
She believes that the MV's message and story, full of human values, will reach all audiences and become a listening trend as the whole country celebrates the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.
