Glory, oh Vietnam! is a new composition by Professor, Doctor, Hero of Labor Nguyen Anh Tri praising the Fatherland, arousing national pride and love for the country.
Released on the occasion of National Day September 2, the MV carries a sacred message that arouses the spirit of solidarity, national pride and aspiration to rise in every Vietnamese person.
Glory, oh Vietnam! has a heroic melody, concise and memorable lyrics, rich in encouragement and spreading strong inspiration. With only 6 verses, the song depicts the image of a resilient, united and proud country. The refrain Pride of our Fatherland – Glory, oh Vietnam! becomes a call to arms, affirming the strength and glory of the nation.
More than 1,000 people participated in the MV "Glory, oh Vietnam!".
The song features the harmony of 30 singers such as Huyen Trang, Viet Danh, Meritorious Artist To Nga, Meritorious Artist Luong Huy, Meritorious Artist Cam Tu, Le Xuan Hao, Minh Tuan, Dieu Thuy..., along with thousands of people in grand scenes.
The MV was filmed at many historical sites from North to South such as President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, Vietnam Military History Museum, Road 9 Martyrs' Cemetery (Quang Tri), Lung Cu Flagpole ( Ha Giang ).
Sharing about his inspiration for the composition, the musician said that he had been nurturing the idea for many years, having written a few songs but was not satisfied because of the spread or lack of motivation. “Until one day, while picking up a book from the shelf, the song’s melody suddenly rang in my head. In less than 30 minutes, I had completed the work. Perhaps the emotions had been pent up for a long time, so at the right time, they burst forth,” Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tri confided.
