Mr. Dinh Son Tung has held many positions, from the District Party Committee, District People's Committee, Head of the Department of Culture and Information, Secretary of the Party Committee of Suoi Hoa Commune, Tan Lac District (old), to the current Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Muong Hoa Commune. In any position, he always upholds the spirit of responsibility, dedication, dares to think, dares to do, and wholeheartedly serves the people.
From the practical work assigned, he has many initiatives applied with practical results. Typical examples are initiatives in managing and developing community tourism ; promoting the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life"; building a pilot smart radio station at the commune level; breakthrough solutions in creating resources and developing party members...
In particular, when the Emulation Movement for the Poor in 2025 was launched, in his position at that time (before the merger) as Party Secretary and Head of the Steering Committee for the Poor in Suoi Hoa commune, Mr. Tung resolutely directed the implementation, mobilizing the entire political system from commune to hamlet with the spirit of "leaving no one behind".
The implementation process has encountered many difficulties such as: Limited resources while many poor households need XNT, NDN, some households are not able to respond; problems with land documents for households eligible for support; the notion of waiting until they are old enough to build a house... Faced with these difficulties, the Head of the XNT Steering Committee, NDN commune has thoroughly grasped the viewpoint of "only discussing, not discussing back", synchronously implementing a series of highly effective solutions. He agreed in the XNT Steering Committee, NDN flexibly applying the policy of "State support, People work together". For households with special difficulties, hamlets established mobilization groups, donated funds, materials, and working days to support. Officials went to the households to grasp the actual situation, and advised on how to build a house suitable to the conditions and circumstances. For disadvantaged families, the Hamlet Management Board purchased materials and mobilized youth, militia... to help build houses.

Not only did he give written instructions, he also went down to the households to inspect, urge, promptly remove difficulties, and speed up progress. Thanks to that, Suoi Hoa commune (old) completed 55 houses for poor households, finishing early in the "450 days and nights of XNT, NDN" campaign for poor households. Each house not only helps the poor settle down and gradually find a job, but is also the mark of a responsible cadre for the people. Thereby, affirming the people's trust in the Party, the State, and local Party committees, authorities, and cadres. Mr. Bui Tien Mao in Thung hamlet, Muong Hoa commune expressed: "Cadre Tung is close to the grassroots, his words go hand in hand with his actions, and he is loved and trusted by the people."
Currently, in his position as Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Muong Hoa commune, Mr. Tung continues to uphold the spirit of responsibility, dedication to work, overcoming all initial difficulties when implementing the 2-level local government model. Assigned to be in charge of the cultural and social fields, he always pays attention to social security work in the new period, and is concerned with solutions to help poor households and ethnic minorities rise up. For households that have been recognized as poor, he advises and directs the determination of the causes of poverty of each household to have appropriate support plans, helping them escape poverty sustainably. Organizes effective, public and transparent implementation of resources from national target programs for ethnic minority and mountainous areas. For households that are "sustainably poor" for objective reasons, it is recommended to have a social subsidy policy to implement the goals of the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Muong Hoa Commune Party Committee as well as the general goal of the whole province striving to have basically no poor households by 2030.
