The person who overcharged for parking in Sam Son has been fined 15 million VND.

Team No. 2 of the Market Management Department (Thanh Hoa Market Management Sub-department) issued a decision to impose an administrative fine of 15 million VND on a young man for overcharging 200,000 VND for parking fees.

According to information from Market Management Team No. 2, on April 29th, the unit issued a decision to impose an administrative fine of 15 million VND on Mr. NTT (born in 1999, residing in Dung Lien neighborhood, Sam Son ward, Thanh Hoa province) for illegally charging parking fees at the Sam Son tourist area.

Earlier, on the afternoon of April 25th, a tourist arrived at Sam Son beach and parked their car at a parking lot near the roundabout at the entrance to FLC Sam Son to attend the Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival 2026. Upon parking, the tourist was charged 200,000 VND for a single parking session.

Immediately after learning about the incident, the Sam Son Ward Police and Market Management Team No. 2 launched an investigation, identifying the perpetrator of the price gouging as NTT (born in 1999, residing in Dung Lien neighborhood, Sam Son Ward).

T. was the person directly in charge of parking and collecting the money, charging 200,000 VND per parking session.
