People across the country poured into the streets to celebrate the New Year.

Tonight, Ho Chi Minh City will have fireworks displays from 0:00 to 0:15 at two locations: the entrance to the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Duc City) and Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11). Simultaneously, a New Year's Eve countdown will take place on the evening of December 31st at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue pedestrian street (District 1). Many central city streets will be closed to traffic to allow people to celebrate the New Year 2023 and watch the fireworks.

In Hanoi , starting at 7:30 PM today at the August Revolution Square (Grand Theatre), this year's program features artists such as My Linh, rapper Blacka, DJ Quintino, and JustaTee. A four-sided stage with interconnected lighting will create a vibrant space, offering a multi-dimensional experience combining sound, light, and the lively atmosphere of the crowd.

At Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hoan Kiem Lake, there will also be a countdown music party with the theme "Live Your Passion to the Fullest," starting at 8:30 PM on December 31st. Participating artists include My Tam, Thang (Ngot), Double2t, Phuc Bo, Marzuz, and Thai Dinh.

In several popular tourist destinations such as Da Nang, Hue, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Vung Tau, and Can Tho, the last night of 2023 featured lively entertainment, cultural performances, fireworks displays, and countdowns to welcome the new year.
