People can receive medicine at home via VNeID from September

(QNgTV) - The Ministry of Public Security will pilot the connection of prescription data from hospitals to the medical data coordination system and pharmacies, synchronously integrated on VNeID in September 2025, officially deployed in October 2025, helping people to receive medicine at home.

The program is implemented under the Government's Directive on science , technology, innovation and digital transformation development at the July meeting and is part of a major effort to promote digital transformation in Vietnam.

According to experts, integrating drug purchases on VNeID is very convenient for people, and is an important step in the digitalization roadmap of the pharmaceutical industry. And to do that, connecting medical data systems between localities is a prerequisite in the process of implementing electronic health records.

With a nationwide synchronized database, people's health management will become more effective, while improving the quality of medical services.
