The dragon mascot and the landscape at the Spring Flower Festival have been fully decorated. The flower fields, miniature landscapes, and flower display areas attract tourists and locals alike who come to visit and take pictures.
Although not officially open to visitors yet, the Tao Dan Spring Flower Festival attracted many families to check in this morning, February 6th.
According to Mr. Le Cong Phuong, Director of the Green Park Company, the highlight of this year's spring flower festival is the unique and novel works of art, and a special collection of yellow apricot blossoms, including an apricot tree over 50 years old and 3 meters tall.
The collection of artistic porcelain flowers includes large porcelain works such as the pair of Xuan Ky (approximately 2.7m high) and the Queen of a Thousand Flowers (approximately 3m high).
The orchid collection includes a Phalaenopsis orchid with over 200 flower stalks, a Dendrobium orchid over 1 meter tall, and a set of three-colored Narcissus orchids. In addition, the temperate flower section features an ancient bougainvillea tree over 70 years old, an ancient azalea, and a nearly 100-year-old blue plum tree from Da Lat.
Notably, the Spring Flower Festival features a collection of sculptures carved from solid wood, including the "Dragon and Fairy Descendants" tea table shaped like the map of Vietnam, a first for the festival.
Next to it is the artwork "Beloved Country," with the highlight being the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, depicted as two precious gems made from driftwood blocks, each 4 meters high and 2 meters in diameter at the base...
The Ho Chi Minh City Spring Flower Festival, themed "Spring of Love, Tet of Reunion," will run from February 6th to February 15th (27th of the 12th lunar month to the 6th day of Tet).

Although the opening ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City Spring Flower Festival for the Year of the Dragon (2012) hasn't officially begun yet, many people dressed up nicely and came to Tao Dan Park to admire the flowers and take commemorative photos.
The Spring Flower Festival also features miniature scenes of "Spring of Love," expressed through stylized heart shapes, wishing to bring the spring of love to everyone.
The potted frangipani trees, with their vibrant red color, attract tourists.
Workers from the landscaping company are racing against time to plant pots of yellow chrysanthemums in the landscaped areas.
The Spring Flower Festival displays a collection of exceptional sculptures.
The exhibition area features fruit trees, rock gardens, miniature landscapes, bonsai, antique ornamental plants, and more, all vibrant and unique.
Of course, women are the first to take photos to get beautiful shots before the opening ceremony, avoiding overcrowding and ensuring good angles for photos.
