On April 22, Phu Canh Commune Police (Quang Binh Province) announced that they had just received a rare wild animal, a small loris, from a local resident who voluntarily surrendered it.
The person who handed it over was Mr. Hoang Anh Q. (born in 1996, Tien Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province).
This individual loris weighs about 300g, was discovered by Mr. Q. on the road and handed over to Phu Canh Commune Police.

After receiving it, Phu Canh Commune Police completed the procedures to hand over this rare wild animal, the Loris, to the Quang Trach District Forest Protection Department according to state regulations.
It is known that the individual of the forest animal Pygmy Loris (Nycticebus pygmaeus Bonhote) belongs to Group IB according to the provisions of Decree No. 06/2019/ND-CP dated January 22, 2019 of the Government and is on the list of endangered, precious and rare species prioritized for protection according to the provisions of Decree No. 64/2019/ND-CP dated July 16, 2019 of the Government.
