MULTI-DIMENSIONAL PRESSURE, ADAPTATION EFFORTS
In the digital age, with the development of multimedia journalism, journalists no longer focus on one type but must take on print journalism, electronic journalism, radio, television, information processing on digital platforms and photojournalism.
The challenges are increasing as the speed of information becomes a “survival” factor, journalists have to race against time to report news quickly but must ensure accuracy, multi-dimensional information and anticipate the impact of information on public opinion. Responsibility for information, awareness of the value of information brought to the community becomes more important than ever.
With the development of multimedia journalism today, it has opened up opportunities as well as challenges for journalists, especially young journalists. In terms of opportunities, journalists have access to new journalism methods, modern equipment and perform many tasks of a multi-talented journalist. In terms of challenges, technology is changing the way journalism is done, from collecting, processing to distributing information. At the same time, not all journalists can easily access new changes due to many different factors such as age, not changing themselves to adapt to technology and digital transformation of journalism. With the advantage of being strong, young journalists can easily keep up with modern journalism trends and quickly adapt to the development of multimedia journalism.
Technology is constantly developing, requiring journalists to have flexible thinking, not afraid to learn and try new things. Journalists who participate in courses will help update their knowledge and necessary skills; not afraid to try new working tools. To adapt and master technology, there is no other way than for each journalist to be self-motivated: self-adapt, self-change, self-renewal to create quality multimedia journalism.

RESHAPING CAREERS
In the context of the press having to compete for information with each other and with social networks, journalists must be truly passionate about their profession and must reshape their profession. Gradually, society and readers will turn their backs on those who write in the direction of gaining likes and views, far from the purpose of the newspaper, lacking a constructive spirit, creating negative effects for society.
In the context of the development of artificial intelligence, it is possible to create press products quickly. Therefore, journalists must always stick to the reality of life, stick to the base, diligently search and discover typical examples, good people, good deeds that are very ordinary in daily life, to have good material for press works... At the same time, actively create press works to participate in provincial, central and regional press awards to contribute to improving the profession, creating more motivation, encouraging oneself to stick with journalism. When writing articles to participate in competitions, it is necessary to set requirements to closely follow the contest rules, express honest, creative content, and be highly convincing, to clearly depict the typical, outstanding qualities, the "sparkling" features of the character. For the topic of good people, good deeds, it is necessary to find "valuable", outstanding details of the character, not just stop at simply reflecting the good deeds of the character.

SELF-STUDY TO IMPROVE SKILLS AND PROFESSION
In a competitive and dynamic journalism environment, continuous learning is an important factor for journalists to stick with and develop their careers.
Learn to “change” to adapt. The development of science, technology and the Internet has created pressure on the speed of news reporting. Journalists need to innovate their working methods, take advantage of information technology and exploit a variety of other media.
Learning “for the public” is developing. The public’s level is increasingly high, requiring journalists to have extensive knowledge in many fields, while constantly cultivating professional ethics according to Uncle Ho’s teachings: “Revolutionary journalists must have a bright mind, a pure heart, and a sharp pen”. In the digital age, journalists need to become multi-talented communicators, grasping the importance of digital transformation in journalism.
Studying and following Uncle Ho's ideology, ethics and journalistic style, each journalist needs to have a firm political stance, the awareness and mettle of a revolutionary journalist, protecting the Party, the State, the People and the socialist regime, worthy of the trust of the Party and the People.
At the same time, spend time reading books and newspapers about the profession, studying the working skills and requirements of each type of journalism. Study specialized documents, reports, and projects related to the field of responsibility. Participate in training courses on knowledge and skills in journalism, awareness of digital transformation and professional ethics, helping journalists meet practical requirements.
Improve your information gathering skills: practice the “art of asking” intelligently and deeply, based on professional and practical knowledge to collect quality, fresh and attractive information for readers. Journalists always update their knowledge, keep up with issues of public concern to avoid misleading and counterproductive propaganda.
Journalists need to identify learning and training as a lifelong process, as Uncle Ho taught: “If a journalist stops learning, it is considered as standing still. All cadres at all levels and in all sectors must learn, but journalists must learn more, study more persistently and diligently”. In the digital age, self-improvement of skills and professional training become more urgent for journalists to stand firm and develop in their careers.
