Since 7:00 a.m. (Russia time), security in central areas has been tightened, some roads have restricted vehicle movement, and many metro lines in these areas have also restricted access.
Despite restrictions on movement, hundreds of Vietnamese people crowded into areas near Red Square for a rehearsal involving soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army.
Many Vietnamese students from universities excitedly woke up early and stood in large groups near Zaryadye Park.
Many Vietnamese youth and students not only carry flags, but also wear shirts and paste images of the Vietnamese flag on their faces.
Some Vietnamese people wear Soviet Red Army uniforms and caps as a way to show respect for history.

In the excited atmosphere, the red flag with yellow star and the Russian flag fluttered in joy; the rhythm of the song Kachiusa and the song As if Uncle Ho were here on the great victory day, the national anthem resounded throughout the Kitai Gorod neighborhood. The heroic sound made the joyful atmosphere sacred and emotional.
This year's Russian military parade is considered to be large-scale and remarkable. This is not only an occasion to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, marking an important milestone in human history, but also an occasion for Russia to demonstrate the most advanced weapons and military equipment, demonstrating the world's top military potential.

This is also the first year Vietnam has sent its People's Army to participate in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of this important day.
Vietnam always remembers and appreciates the great assistance of the State and people of the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation in the past resistance wars to defend the Fatherland and in building and developing the country today.
