IDECAF Theatre is about to premiere a new play.

IDECAF Theatre recently held a rehearsal performance of the play "Luong Son Ba - Chuc Anh Dai: An Unofficial Story" (written by Vo Trung Tin, directed by Vu Dinh Toan).

"Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" is a famous Chinese folk tale. Liang Shanbo, a kind and humble scholar, and Zhu Yingtai, a beautiful and resolute young lady from a noble family, with kindred spirits, are united in marriage.

This folk tale has inspired many stage plays, from traditional Vietnamese opera to spoken drama, especially classical Vietnamese opera. This time, "Luong Son Ba - Chuc Anh Dai: An Unofficial Story" is staged by director Vu Dinh Toan in the form of a comedy, with laughter that is both entertaining and conveys a message about love and friendship.

The play, featuring artists such as Dai Nghia, Dinh Toan, My Duyen, Dong Hai, Tra Ngoc, Quang Thao, Vo Trung Tin, and others, will premiere on the evening of January 1, 2025.
