Crude oil tanker No. 269, towed by PTSC Thanh Hoa, docked at Nghi Son Port on February 15th (28th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Snake) as scheduled, ensuring a supply of raw materials for the refinery during the Tet holiday.

Based on signed contracts, the crude oil delivery schedule is being maintained as planned, ensuring a stable and continuous supply of raw materials before, during, and after the Lunar New Year. Along with ensuring raw material supply, safety and operational stability are also given top priority.

During the Tet holiday, the refinery deployed a full complement of leadership, functional departments, and operational, maintenance, and safety personnel on duty 24/7; maintenance service contractors also maintained staff to meet technical requirements. The equipment systems for importing crude oil from the sea were inspected and maintained to ensure reliability throughout the process of receiving oil tankers, minimizing the risk of operational disruption.

According to Mr. Manh, due to the nature of the work and the continuous operation of the plant, since it began commercial operation in 2022, the team of experts, engineers, and workers have always strictly adhered to the duty roster throughout the Tet holiday, ensuring that there is no interruption in the power supply to the system.

In 2025, the plant maintained a power generation output of over 7.1 billion kWh, fulfilling the agreed-upon electricity supply plan, and simultaneously exceeding the 3 million safe working hours mark, affirming the effectiveness of its operational management and occupational safety.

According to the 2026 dispatch plan, the Nghi Son 2 BOT Thermal Power Plant is expected to supply approximately 7.78 billion kWh to the national power grid, continuing to play a crucial role in ensuring energy security for the region and the entire country.
