* On the same day, the Women's Union of Vi Thanh 1 commune, in coordination with other units, distributed 50 gift packages containing rice and essential goods worth over 10 million VND to students, members, women, and families classified as poor, near-poor, or in difficult circumstances in the area.
* On the same day, the Women's Union of Thanh Hoa commune coordinated the distribution of 650 Tet gifts, including rice and essential goods, to members and women from poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households, with a total value of over 200 million VND from funds raised from organizations and individuals.
* In Hoa Luu commune, the Women's Union visited and provided 3 million VND in cash and essential supplies to Nguyen Cuong Linh in Thanh An hamlet. This is an activity within the "Godmother" program.
* On the same day, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nhon My commune, the People's Committee of My Xuyen ward, and Ngoc To commune organized the distribution of Tet gifts for the Year of the Horse 2026 to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nhon My commune donated 50 gift packages, each worth 530,000 VND. To date, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nhon My commune has distributed 1,110 gift packages, worth over 380 million VND. The People's Committee of My Xuyen ward organized the distribution of 600 gift packages; to date, My Xuyen ward has distributed over 674 gift packages. Previously, the People's Committee of the ward had distributed 129 gift packages to religious leaders, officials, and policy beneficiary families, each worth 1 million VND. Ngoc To commune distributed 520 gift packages, totaling 260 million VND, and donated 649 gift packages to policy beneficiary families.
* Soc Trang Ward organized a social mobilization campaign to distribute numerous gifts to poor households, households with difficult circumstances, and families with meritorious contributions during Tet (Lunar New Year). Specifically, the Ward's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations donated 589 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to near-poor households. The Ward Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee donated 250 gifts, each worth between 400,000 and 500,000 VND, to households with difficult circumstances and families with meritorious contributions. The Soc Trang Ward Youth Union donated 80 gifts to disadvantaged children.
* On the same day, the Hung Phu Ward Police, in coordination with the Mobile Police Department of Can Tho City Police, presented 150 gifts to orphaned children and children in difficult circumstances in the ward, each gift worth 1 million VND, funded through social mobilization.
At the event, the Hung Phu Ward Police presented gifts to two children, and the Mobile Police Unit of the Can Tho City Police Department presented gifts to two children who lost a parent due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will be sponsored by the police force until 2030.
* The Women's Union of Vinh Thuan Dong commune recently collaborated with other organizations to distribute 100 Tet gift packages to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse). Each package, worth 500,000 VND, included rice, instant noodles, soy sauce, and pastries. The total cost of the program exceeded 50 million VND, funded through social mobilization.
