Many Vertu users are seeking help because their phones have been locked.

Faced with the increasing prevalence of counterfeit and unauthorized products in the Vietnamese market, Vertu has taken strong measures to disable these devices.

Vertu is a high-value device; it's essential to purchase it from an authorized distributor.

This situation occurs when users of unofficial, counterfeit, or unregistered Vertu phones update their systems. Users must contact the place of purchase for assistance, but most sellers are unable to help because they are not authorized Vertu dealers. Therefore, many people have sought help from Vertu Vietnam – the exclusive authorized Vertu distributor in Vietnam – but the chances of unlocking their phones are almost zero.

"We have received many cases of Vertu phones being locked. Most of them cannot be unlocked, rendering the Vertu phone literally 'a brick.' Therefore, users should go to authorized stores because the products there are genuine, have a clear origin, and, most importantly, are not likely to be locked," a representative from Vertu Vietnam shared.

Therefore, when a Vertu device malfunctions, users should immediately go to an authorized Vertu service center for inspection and repair. They should avoid unofficial stores, as there have been cases of users being scammed with counterfeit accessories.

“Vertu has always been known as a precious piece of jewelry made with rare materials such as sapphires, gold, and diamonds… so some repair shops have taken advantage by swapping out accessories and components. This not only affects the quality of the phone but also diminishes the value of a luxurious, high-end piece of jewelry, a symbol of the elite,” a Vertu representative shared.

Two official Vertu stores and an authorized service center in Vietnam can meet the needs of customers nationwide, offering the Metavertu, Vertu Aster P, iVertu, and Vertu Signature models, along with genuine accessories exclusively distributed by Vertu Vietnam. The two official Vertu stores in Vietnam are currently located in Hanoi (3A Le Thai To Street, Hoan Kiem District) and Ho Chi Minh City (71 Dong Khoi Street, District 1).
