At the Hue City venue, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee and Head of the City's Fire Prevention and Rescue Steering Committee, chaired the meeting.

The Law on Fire Prevention and Rescue, effective from July 1, 2025, contains many important new points, focusing on clarifying the responsibilities of individuals and organizations; supplementing regulations on rescue and strengthening the role of science and technology in fire prevention and rescue. Notably, the law has drastically reduced and simplified administrative procedures and business conditions for fire prevention and rescue services.

The Law on Fire Prevention and Rescue has added several new regulations on: Rescue work; Strengthening the responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and individuals; Fire safety conditions for establishments, houses, and houses combined with production and business; Electrical fire safety in daily life, production, and business; Firefighting operations; Building and strengthening the fire prevention and rescue force; Regimes and policies for those mobilized, those participating in firefighting and rescue, and the fire prevention and rescue police force; and Handling of establishments that do not meet fire prevention requirements but were put into use before the law came into effect.

In addition, the law also amends existing regulations related to design review and acceptance testing for fire safety, and revises, supplements, repeals, and simplifies administrative procedures in the field of fire safety and rescue. At the same time, it abolishes regulations related to the business of fire safety services.
