According to Mr. Binh, Hue has achieved many important titles such as Green City, ASEAN Cultural City, UNESCO Creative City… However, the question is how to make these titles truly become “living brands,” clearly recognizable domestically and internationally. This requires Hue to know how to “assemble” its heritage, cultural, historical, and human values into a compelling and sustainable development story.
“Hue is very interested in promoting international cooperation, especially with South Korea, not only in economic aspects but also in cultural exchange and sharing development models. We hope that, drawing on international experience, experts will work with Hue to find solutions to effectively exploit cultural and heritage values, contributing to the development of a heritage city worthy of its status,” Mr. Binh expressed.
The forum consisted of three thematic discussion sessions. Session 1 focused on the theme of Hue and the brand city , with presentations revolving around strategic urban brand positioning, developing Hue based on cultural soft power, festival economy, nightlife culture, and creative experiential models, aiming to build Hue into a creative cultural city with international influence.

Session 3 focused on Hue and the environment , set against the backdrop of Central Vietnam's continuous and severe impacts from climate change and natural disasters. Solutions discussed included green urban development, sustainable infrastructure design, rainwater management using the LID model, and enhancing resilience and intelligent adaptation, in line with the goal of building Hue into a green, ecological, safe, and smart city.
