Hottest Kpop Boy Group of July: BTS Beats Seventeen

The Korean Business Research Institute has just announced the July 2024 brand reputation rankings for Kpop male idol groups.

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from June 13 to July 13, 2024.

BTS rose to the top of this month's rankings with a brand reputation index of 5,555,349, marking a 35.67 percent increase in score from June.

High-ranking phrases in BTS' keyword analysis include "ARMY," "Jimin," and "digital music." Top-ranking related words include "exhibition," "participation," and "release."

Analysis of BTS's positivity-negativity ratio also showed 92.18% positive reactions.

Meanwhile, Seventeen dropped to second place this month, with a brand reputation index of 4,560,496 points.

SHINee rose to third place after seeing an impressive 144.52% increase in their score from June, bringing their total score for July to 3,206,677 points.

The Boyz came in at 4th place with a score of 2,437,994, up 62.42% since June. ENHYPEN entered the Top 5 with a score of 2,276,888, up 44.45% since June.
