On the afternoon of April 27, in Hanoi , the OPlus group met with the press to launch the revolutionary music project #VN1945.
#VN1945 is a music project that “renews” the revolutionary music genre, often called “red music”, in a modern and positive direction. OPlus hopes to convey the message that red music does not only belong to the past but also represents passionate patriotism and any generation will be proud and happy to listen to it.
With modern arrangements and singing styles, conveying the feelings of the next generation, OPlus hopes to contribute to preserving red music in a close, fresh and proud way. Through that, OPlus hopes that #VN1945 will be a connecting thread between the generation born during the war, the post-war period and today's Gen Z generation.
#VN1945 is a project that has a starting point but no end point. The OPlus team will extend and expand this project as a mission to spread not only to the audience but also to young artists and cultural workers.
The project opens with seven songs, including five famous and familiar songs to many generations of audiences: "National Guard"; "Pestles on Soc Bom Bo"; "Love song"; "Faraway island", " Ho Chi Minh song".
In addition, there are two new songs composed by the OPlus group, including: Lac Hong Warriors, and People Are the Light. Among these seven songs, there is the song Doan Ve Quoc Quan sung in a new and impressive Acapella style.

The connection of the #VN1945 project is not only music, but even the project's identity is based on the idea of a postage stamp - once a symbol of communication lines, taking the milestone from 1945, the year of the August Revolution's success and also the year of the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, marking the milestone of independence and freedom for the country.
"With that idea, the #VN1945 project was built by OPlus as a time-traveling postal system, where each song is a "historical parcel" carrying the nation's memories. When opening the album, the audience feels like they are opening a letter with a postmark from 1945 - a message from the past to the present," said singer Quang Minh, leader of OPlus.
At the project launch, Colonel Pham Van Tu, Director of the Military Radio and Television Center, shared: “Personally, I really appreciate the creativity of young artists. Revolutionary songs that have gone through the years carry a lot of historical meaning. With the new arrangement style of the OPlus group, it has created a wonderful spread. The lyrics and meaning of the song remain the same, but the way it is conveyed to the listener is renewed, creative, very civilized, bringing the thoughts and emotions of the artist when immersing himself in each lyric of the song”.

Not only as performing artists, through this music project, OPlus hopes to spread the spirit of patriotism through community activities and cultural exchange events of historical significance. With harmonious voices and emotional performance style, the group has achieved many successes with new versions of classic songs of many music genres, especially red music, contributing to preserving and reviving timeless musical values.
Starting the Project with seven songs, OPlus will continue to expand the project, with the next famous songs, or new songs, that is the special thing about this Music Project.
