Notably, the coastal tourist destinations in East Dak Lak are attracting a large number of domestic tourists from West Dak Lak. The connection between "sea and forest" is creating a vibrant and new energy for local tourism.

The eastern part of Dak Lak (formerly Phu Yen), with its 189 km coastline, boasts numerous beautiful bays and gently sloping golden sandy beaches, making it an attractive destination during the hot summer months. Along the stretch from Cu Mong Bay to Vung Ro Bay, there are countless golden sandy beaches, sandbars, and dreamy bays; among them are many ideal destinations known to tourists such as: Hon Nua, Vung Ro, Bai Mon, Tuy Hoa beach, Long Thuy, Bai Xep - Hon Chua, Hon Yen, Vinh Hoa beach, and Xuan Dai - Nhat Tu Son Bay.

Tuy Hoa beach attracts a large number of tourists during the summer.

Improved transportation and shorter geographical distances within the province have created ideal conditions for tourists from Buon Ma Thuot, Cu M'gar, Krong Nang, etc., to come to the coastal city to rest and relax during the hot summer days. Besides enjoying the seascape, the cool breeze, frolicking in the cool water, and snorkeling to admire the coral reefs, this season, visitors to the pristine beaches and islands in East Dak Lak can also camp overnight, play games on the sand, and especially enjoy fresh, delicious seafood with a rich, sweet taste of the sea.

"We believe that every trip for tourists is not only a journey of discovery but also an opportunity to connect people with nature, culture, and community. Therefore, tourism businesses in eastern Dak Lak meticulously care for each service, and each destination is told with all their love and pride," - Vice President of the Phu Yen Tourism Association .

According to local tourism businesses, this year's tourist season sees most visitors choosing coastal and island destinations. Mr. Tran Hoan Chuong (Bay Hon Chua), who specializes in organizing tours to Hon Chua Island, said that the number of tourists visiting the island has increased dramatically this year. On peak days, the number reaches several hundred. Activities offered include: water sports (kayaking, jet skiing), snorkeling, fresh seafood with local specialties, and overnight camping.

Besides the pristine beauty of its seas and islands, the eastern part of Dak Lak is highly regarded by travel agencies for its rich variety of destinations compared to many other localities.

The days for experiencing the destinations in the land of "golden flowers on green grass" can be roughly divided as follows: Day 1, the northern tour, includes the main destinations: Ong Cop wooden bridge - Ganh Da Dia (Disk Rock Cliff) - Mang Lang Church - Bai Xep beach - Hon Yen island - O Loan lagoon - Thanh Luong pagoda.

Day two, the southern tour, includes the main destinations: Mui Dien Lighthouse (where the earliest sunrise on the mainland of Vietnam is witnessed), Vung Ro Bay, the Monument to the Unnumbered Ships, and Hon Nua Island.

On the third day, the West Wing tour includes the main points of interest: Truc Lam Zen Monastery, Van Hoa Plateau Red Tree Garden, Ho Chi Minh Memorial Church, BB Farm, Go Thi Thung Tunnel… With a wide variety of destinations, tourists can prioritize those that suit their interests and available time.

That's not to mention the must-see destinations within Tuy Hoa city such as: the Nhan Tower National Special Monument, Nghinh Phong Tower Square - Tuy Hoa Beach Park, Ho Son regulating lake, Ngoc Lang vegetable village… Or tourists can choose tours to experience swimming, snorkeling, squid fishing, spearfishing, and spending the night on nearby islands: Lao Mai Nha, Hon Chua, Hon Nua…

Lao Mai Nha, a small island off the coast, attracts many tourists who come to experience swimming and overnight camping.

What makes the land of "golden flowers on green grass" so attractive to tourists? The answer, based on the experiences shared by many visitors and the comments of travel agencies, is the pristine and unspoiled beauty of Dak Lak's islands and beaches: blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine! In addition, there are many cultural, historical, and spiritual sites, as well as scenic spots. The cuisine of the Nẫu region – Eastern Dak Lak – is also a highlight, with its richness, distinctive flavors, and preparation methods that appeal to all tastes. Seafood is the top choice when visiting this area, with a wide variety of fish, shrimp, crab, squid, snails, and shellfish captivating many visitors.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh (Buon Ma Thuot ward) felt that the islands and seas of Dak Lak are truly beautiful, and the seafood is the freshest and most flavorful in the country. Ms. Nguyen Cao Hong Giang (Ea Sup commune) shared: “It’s wonderful that Phu Yen has merged with Dak Lak. From now on, we can travel within the province, enjoying both forests and beaches. This was our first time in Tuy Hoa, and our group just rested, ate, and swam in the sea, and four days flew by so quickly. It was amazing!”
