These days in May, the pink blossoms of the acacia trees, resembling cherry blossoms, bloom profusely, covering the branches and brilliantly decorating the courtyard of the communal house in Op village (Pleiku ward). This romantic scene has attracted many locals and tourists to visit and take photos.

The tree has a wide canopy with many large branches extending evenly. The flowers bloom in dense clusters, interwoven among the lush green leaves, creating a harmonious and eye-catching color scheme. From early morning to late afternoon, many locals and tourists come to visit and take souvenir photos.

As someone who loves photography and doesn't want to miss the beautiful scenery of the mountain town, Ms. Luong Thi Mong Trang (Group 1 - Phu Dong, Pleiku Ward) and her group of friends took the opportunity to check in and capture beautiful moments.
“I’ve passed by here many times, but this is the first year I’ve seen the flowers bloom so evenly and brilliantly. The flowers look beautiful in photos, and the communal house behind them creates a very peaceful atmosphere. I hope this mountain town will have more beautiful, poetic landscapes like this,” shared Mrs. Trang.

Visiting Gia Lai for the first time and seeing the pink cassia tree with her own eyes, Ms. Luong Thi Phuong (Nong Tien ward, Tuyen Quang province) said: “This is the first time I’ve seen this flower. The flowers have very beautiful and striking colors. The combination of the communal house and the flowering tree creates a very distinctive feeling of the mountain town.”
Not only attracting tourists, the pink cassia tree in Op Village also adds a unique scenic highlight to the mountain town of Pleiku every May. Spaces rich in cultural identity combined with distinctive natural scenery are becoming an attractive factor for tourists visiting Gia Lai, especially during the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026.
