Who will receive 1 million VND on Lunar New Year 2026?

According to Plan 34 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in some cases, workers will receive 1 million VND in cash and 300,000 VND in gifts according to the expected spending level on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2026.

Implementing the 2025 work program of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , Official Dispatch 737 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on organizing activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor issued a Plan to organize activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026.

Leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor gave gifts and shared joy in the program "Happy Tet - Spring of gratitude to the Party" in 2025 in Ha Tinh .

According to the content of Plan 34, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will organize visits, give gifts, and wish a happy New Year to union members and workers at enterprises, industrial parks, export processing zones, etc. at enterprises and units with outstanding production and business results, many workers in difficult circumstances, low income, heavily affected by natural disasters, remote areas, arduous, toxic, dangerous occupations, etc. with an estimated expenditure of 1,300,000 VND/person (including 1,000,000 VND in cash and 300,000 VND in kind) on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026.

Thus, workers at enterprises, industrial parks, export processing zones,... in enterprises and units with outstanding production and business results, many workers in difficult circumstances, low income, heavily affected by natural disasters, remote areas, arduous, toxic, dangerous occupations,... will receive 1,000,000 VND in cash and 300,000 VND in gifts according to the expected expenditure level.
