Trung Khanh district is located about 60 km from Cao Bang city, famous for its natural beauty and typical Northeast climate with 4 distinct seasons.

Cao Bang chestnut trees are 10-16 m tall, with perennial roots up to 0.5 m in diameter and a wide canopy. The trees are planted according to a process, evenly spaced on hillsides 450-600 m high.

In spring, visitors will admire the chestnut gardens blooming with white, fragrant flowers. If you come back here around September and October, you will witness the harvest season.

The chestnut clusters are unripe on the outside like rambutan. Ripe chestnuts have cracks in the outer shell, inside the shell are 1 to 3 seeds.

Conquering Nam Me waterfall in Tuyen Quang province

Nam Me belongs to Khuon Ha commune, Lam Binh district, is about 4,000 m long with 15 floors, from the top of Sinh Long mountain down to Gam river.

Water in Nam Me is abundant all year round so the waterfall is beautiful in every season, but the ideal time to come here is summer. Visitors will enjoy the freshness of the air and the water.

Around Nam Me waterfall, there are steep moss-covered cliffs interspersed with large ancient trees. Conquering the top of Nam Me waterfall is a difficult experience, for those who love adventurous experiences.

The climbing distance is about 6 km, with many rocky rapids, 3-4 difficult climbing points with vertical cliffs, about 10-15 m high and slippery moss. Therefore, to conquer Nam Me, visitors need experience and full protective equipment. In addition, it is also advisable to go in groups with a guide.

For visitors who are just visiting, they can take a boat to the foot of the waterfall.
