Concluding its second season with many emotions, the 2nd "Proud of My Homeland" Half-marathon in 2025 left a positive impression on athletes from both within and outside the country.

At exactly 5:10 AM on April 13th, the 2nd "Proud of My Homeland" Half-Marathon officially opened with three distances: 21 km, 11 km, and 6 km.

This year, approximately 2,300 amateur and professional runners, both domestic and international, are embracing community running as a way to explore their own limits.

Singer ST Son Thach, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam, and rapper Dinh Tien Dat were excited before the start of the 2nd "Proud of My Homeland" Half-marathon in 2025.

Runs through the night

The newly paved, spacious rural roads enthusiastically welcomed thousands of athletes.

Compared to last year, this year's "Proud of My Homeland" half-marathon attracted more foreign participants. The photo shows the family of Daniil Chekmarev (Russian nationality), who works in the oil and gas industry in Ba Ria - Vung Tau , all participating. The parents ran the 6km race, pushing their child along, while the two children participated in the Kid Run the previous afternoon. Even though the youngest was sleepy at the last minute, the parents had to run alongside to encourage her.

The red and yellow flag shirts stood out on the running track. All three athletes ran the 21 km distance.

In the 21km race, amateur runner Le Thi Ha finished first with a time of 1 hour 34 minutes and 54 seconds.
Meanwhile, in the men's 21km race, Nguyen Van Chinh finished first with a time of 1 hour 23 minutes and 58 seconds, followed by Nguyen Dang Khoa (1 hour 28 minutes and 07 seconds) and Pham Quang Luu (1 hour 29 minutes and 06 seconds).

In the women's 11km race, national team member Nguyen Khanh Ly finished first with a time of 47 minutes and 29 seconds, followed by Cao Thi Thanh Thuy (48 minutes and 56 seconds) and Ngo Hong Thuy (58 minutes and 23 seconds) in second and third place respectively.

The national flags were displayed along the running track.
