In preparation for the One UI 7 update, which is expected to begin in early April, Samsung has announced a long list of devices eligible for the update. However, many eligible Galaxy devices are still waiting in line for the update from the South Korean company.

Essentially, the Galaxy A, Galaxy M, and Galaxy F product lines are all on the list of devices eligible for the One UI 7 update. The issue is that Samsung has only confirmed that high-end smartphone models launching in 2024 will be prioritized for the update before expanding the list to include phones, tablets, and foldable phones launched from 2021 onwards.
It's known that Galaxy devices launched in the past few years have come with varying software support policies. Specifically, budget phones typically receive two operating system updates, while high-end models like the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z can receive support for up to seven years. However, the company has changed this support by increasing software update support to six years for some budget smartphone models, meaning they will receive One UI 7.

The list of Galaxy A, M, F, and Tab series devices eligible for the One UI 7 upgrade, but not yet officially confirmed by Samsung, includes the following:

- Galaxy A series: A73, A55, A54, A53, A35, A34, A33, A25, A24, A23, A16, A15 (LTE+5G), A14 (LTE+5G), A06 LTE, A05, A05s.
- Galaxy M series: M16, M55, M55s, M35, M15, M05, M54, M34, M14, M53, M33.
- Galaxy F series: F16, F55/C55, F15, F05, F54, F34, F14.
- Galaxy Tab series: Tab A9, A9+, Tab Active 5, Tab Active 4 Pro.
Note that update availability may vary by model, region, and carrier. Additionally, not all features available on the Galaxy S25 series will be offered to earlier-released devices via the One UI 7 update. The performance of the new software will also depend on the hardware configuration of each device.
