No Man's Sky is now available on Mac.

According to MacRumors , the popular action-adventure survival game No Man's Sky is now coming to Mac via the Steam store, and Hello Games studio also promises another surprise in the near future.

At last year's WWDC, Apple announced that No Man's Sky would be available on iPad and Mac by the end of 2022. But Hello Games missed that deadline for some reason, and now the game is finally available for Mac. Sean Murray, the founder of Hello Games, hinted earlier last week that the studio would have two important announcements regarding Apple. And the arrival of No Man's Sky on Mac appears to be one of those announcements Hello Games mentioned.

While the second announcement likely concerns the release of the game for the iPad, as this version was previously announced alongside the Mac game at WWDC 2022, Sean Murray's suggestion leans toward speculation that Hello Games may be developing a game for Apple's mixed reality headset, which is expected to be announced at the upcoming WWDC in less than a week.

No Man's Sky is available on multiple VR platforms, including PC and PlayStation VR. When announced at WWDC last year, the game was playable on a Mac with an M1 chip. And since Apple's mixed reality headset is rumored to have at least an M2-based chip alongside a dedicated image signal processor, it's highly likely to be capable of running the game.

Hello Games has also worked with Apple to release the game on Apple Arcade. Given Apple's discussions with Hello Games over the past few years, it's not surprising that No Man's Sky would be among the first wave of games available for Apple's new mixed reality headset.
