Meritorious Artist Chí Trung shares many videos with positive content about his daily life. Chí Trung admits that he creates content on digital platforms to help audiences understand him better and to clarify false rumors.
Meritorious Artist Chí Trung expressed his frustration at constantly being a victim of fake news and biased media. The male artist used words like "hate" and "extremely detest" when referring to this problem.
"I am a victim of dirty media. Many tabloids report untrue things about my family and my life, yet many people still rush to read them. They use sensational headlines to attract views, affecting my character and thoughts. As a result, many people misunderstand my circumstances, work, personality, and everything about me," shared Meritorious Artist Chi Trung.
According to Chi Trung, after he retired, some rumors spread that he had hundreds of billions of dong, that he was rich and therefore didn't want to perform anymore.
In truth, the male artist revealed that he is not rich but lives a peaceful life, with enough to live on his 10.2 million VND pension. Chi Trung said he lives in the artists' dormitory at the Vietnam National Drama Theatre, No. 1 Trang Tien Street.
He doesn't have many needs in life, simply gardening and taking care of a few pets like dogs, fish, and birds...
“Compared to younger generations, this amount is insignificant, but compared to my predecessors, I am incredibly wealthy. Money is just a material possession. With a pension of 10 million dong, I divide it wisely. In the morning, I wake up to exercise, eat instant noodles or leftover rice. Then, my girlfriend and I go for coffee. For lunch and dinner, I eat at home. Occasionally, I meet up with friends and colleagues. I am an artist; my singing is my greatest asset. Who else can retire like me, live as peacefully as I do?” he said.
In a behind-the-scenes video, Chi Trung shared his journey with the Youth Theatre, along with the ups and downs of his career.
“In 1978, when I was 17, the Youth Theatre was recruiting. I was one of 2,100 applicants. I was associated with the theatre for 45 years, and I retired more than two years ago. There were times when I sold motorbikes at the market during the day and went to the theatre at night to transform myself into famous figures from around the world . In 1998, I was one of the people who boldly adapted a long play into a short skit.”
At that time, people in the profession, especially the seniors, said that Chi Trung was ruining the play. A long, heartfelt play like that, and he was tearing it up to make short comedies. This is considered one of my courageous actions as the troupe leader. I am proud of what I accomplished.
"The theater is not only where I work, but also where I've become known to the audience, where I've achieved so much success and glory, and where I've had a happy marriage throughout my youth, middle age, and old age. I'm grateful to the theater for giving Chi Trung the opportunity to be loved by audiences nationwide," Chi Trung confided.

Currently, artist Chí Trung is still active in the arts. He acts in television dramas and performs on stage at the Youth Theatre. The male artist is gaining attention for his role as the crime boss Hưng "khẹc" in the film Độc đạo.
Regarding his personal life, artist Chi Trung is happily in a relationship with his girlfriend, Ý Lan, who is 18 years younger than him. He says he is lucky to have found a soulmate who understands him. The two often travel together and are comfortable appearing in each other's daily life videos.
