Hyorin was unable to participate in the performance in Taiwan due to health issues, Edaily reported. On May 27, her management company, ReH Entertainment, announced that the singer had withdrawn from the Fubon Guardians G! Pop Music Festival, scheduled to be held in Taipei, Taiwan on May 30.
According to the original plan, Hyorin was to perform at the event after the baseball game between Fubon Guardians and CTBC Brothers had ended.

However, on May 27th, Hyorin had to be urgently hospitalized after experiencing health problems. “According to the medical team’s opinion, she needs treatment and rest. This is currently Hyorin’s top priority,” the company shared.
ReH Entertainment stated that after carefully considering Hyorin's current health condition and safety, they decided to allow her to rest and postpone her work schedules this week. The company apologized to fans who had been waiting for the singer.
According to her management company, Hyorin also expressed regret for missing this opportunity to perform. She had been eagerly anticipating the chance to meet her fans in Taiwan through this performance.
"She will focus on treatment to recover her health as quickly as possible. We will also prioritize and support her so that Hyorin can make a speedy recovery," the company said.
Lately, Hyorin has been quite active in entertainment and music events. She has been constantly performing on stage both in and outside of Korea.
Hyorin was born in 1990 and was a member of the popular girl group Sistar. Since debuting with Sistar in 2010, Hyorin has pursued a sexy style, with a toned physique and healthy tan. Notably, she served as the lead vocalist in the group, possessing a powerful and emotional voice. She was the most popular member of the group and pursued numerous solo activities.
After the group disbanded, she pursued a solo career and is considered one of the most outstanding female singers in Kpop in terms of performance skills.
