Nui Phao contributes to "lighting up the countryside".

Nui Phao Mineral Exploitation and Processing Company Limited (Nui Phao Company) recently handed over the "Rural Village Lighting Project" to the people of Ha Thuong and Phuc Linh communes, along with the "Drainage Canal" project for two hamlets in Ha Thuong commune (Dai Tu district).

Representatives from Nui Phao Company presented support for the power line project in Ha Thuong commune.

The power line project has a total length of 2.5km with 67 streetlights illuminating residential roads and community centers in the hamlets of Dong Gia, Suoi Cat (Ha Thuong), Soi, Tho and Ngoc Linh (Phuc Linh). Nui Phao Company contributed 25 million VND, with the remainder contributed by the local people.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Dang Van Thi, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Thuong commune, highly appreciated the significance of the project: "The people of Ha Thuong are very happy and excited. Thanks to the 'Rural Lighting Project' supported by Nui Phao Company, it has contributed to improving the appearance of the rural area, creating favorable conditions for people to travel at night, and ensuring security and order."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nuong, from Ngoc Linh hamlet, Phuc Linh commune, shared: "The roads and alleys are bright and everyone is happy. Now, in the evenings, people can go out to the yard to play sports , hold neighborhood meetings, and participate in communal activities much more conveniently than before. Thank you to Nui Phao Company for caring about the lives of our people."

This is the 17th project in the "Lighting Up Rural Villages" program implemented by Nui Phao Company since 2018, accompanying the local community in building model new rural areas. To date, more than 12km of street lighting has been installed in many communes adjacent to the project, bringing light to every small alley and every rural road.

In addition, Nui Phao Company provided 40 million VND to build a drainage ditch in Khuon Linh and Bai Bong hamlets (Ha Thuong district), with a total length of 437m. After Nui Phao's support in widening the hamlet road to 6m, the residents continued to receive support in completing the drainage system along the new road, contributing to improving the drainage system and preventing flooding during the rainy season.

Every light bulb that is switched on, every section of the canal that is completed, not only contributes to bringing practical benefits to the lives of the people, but also demonstrates the community responsibility and long-term commitment of Nui Phao Company in the journey of sustainable development with the locality.
