Given the complex weather developments, communes, wards, and special zones in Quang Ninh province have directed functional forces to be on standby at areas experiencing heavy rainfall and flooding, ready to assist people in relocating their belongings; and to implement measures to clear waterways and drain water to minimize damage caused by heavy rain and flooding.

The meteorological agency warns of the risk of flooding in low-lying areas, flash floods, and landslides in mountainous regions.
