Completion of the Lamella sedimentation system at Water Supply Business Branch No. 5.

Every day, Water Supply Branch No. 5 uses 3,000 ^m³ of raw water to treat sludge and flush sedimentation and filtration tanks. Ideally, this water should then be discharged. However, in line with the principle of "strengthening waste prevention and improving the quality of clean water supply," the branch has recovered almost all of this water and reused it for clean water treatment using a closed-loop process.

Water Supply Branch No. 5 is efficiently operating a water treatment plant invested with ORET (Netherlands) capital. Since the beginning of March 2025, the plant has consistently operated at full capacity, producing 49,000 ^m³ of clean water per day, ensuring the supply of clean water to customers in Thach Khoi, Hai Tan, Tan Hung, Tan Binh, Thanh Binh, and Viet Hoa wards ( Hai Duong City), Dai An Industrial Park, and Gia Loc district during the early summer season.

Water Supply Branch No. 5 maintains its machinery to ensure that water supply operations operate at maximum capacity.

In response to the increased demand for clean water during the hot season, the branch has researched and upgraded the static mixing system and the Lamella sedimentation tank distribution system, increasing capacity from 49,000 ^m³ /day to 60,000 ^m³ /day, ready to meet customer needs. Prior to this, in 2018, the plant invested in a Lamella sedimentation system, increasing capacity from 20,000 ^m³ /day to 49,000 ^m³ /day.

The above activities of Water Supply Business Branch No. 5 are in response to the National Week of Clean Water and Environmental Sanitation 2025.

In the first four months of this year, Water Supply Branch No. 5 produced and sold over 180,000 ^m³ of commercial clean water. Thanks to efficient management and operation, the clean water loss rate dropped below 9.5%, the lowest in the entire Hai Duong Water Supply Joint Stock Company.
