UNDERSTAND THE STRUCTURE AND DIVIDE YOUR MATH EXAM PREPARATION INTO PHASES.
Master Tran Van Toan, a math teacher at TVT Marth Edu Center (District 10, Ho Chi Minh City), guides students in creating a three-stage exam preparation plan:
Phase 1 involves a comprehensive review of all 12th-grade knowledge, systematizing it all, and creating mind maps to understand the connections between topics. Break down your study time into smaller daily sessions, alternating between theory and basic application exercises. This helps consolidate knowledge and avoid cramming.

After the second semester exams, 12th-grade students will enter the review phase.

Phase 2 focuses on intensive practice tests, divided by question type, with practice solving problems by topic, gradually increasing the difficulty level to get used to the pressure. Analyze mistakes after each test, and note down common question types or errors to avoid repeating them.
Phase 3 involves accelerating your preparation by solving sample exams and practice tests from various schools, setting specific score targets. Simulate real exam situations, time yourself, and work through the test as if you were in a real exam room to improve your mental fortitude and time management.
SYSTEM OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN LITERATURE
According to Master Nguyen Phuoc Bao Khoi from the Department of Literature, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, to maximize scores on easy-to-do questions and increase the chances of getting high marks on differentiating questions, students need to practice their reading comprehension skills, paying attention to the component points of each question type according to their level of thinking, and then determine the most effective way to answer/present their answers.
Students also need to hone their skills in writing paragraphs and argumentative essays on social issues. In paragraph writing, besides recognizing the specific advantages indicated by the essay prompts, students need to pay attention to length, form, content, structure, and expression. Specifically, paragraphs should be written using a coordinated structure and effective sentence linking. For argumentative essays, the key is for students to understand the requirements and how to develop their argument.
In addition, Mr. Khoi also reminded students to practice their handwriting and pay attention to their penmanship (the grading guidelines will likely deduct points for sloppy handwriting). Furthermore, they should practice with exam papers structured according to the Ministry of Education and Training's published format to gain more experience and refine what they have learned from their teachers.

This year, 12th-grade students will take the high school graduation exam under the new general education program.

LEARN VOCABULARY AND INCREASE YOUR ENGLISH LANGUAGE SUBJECT
Ms. Tran Thi Hong Nhung from the Asian International School believes that the biggest change in this year's English exam is the complete removal of single multiple-choice questions. Questions about pronunciation, word stress, and communication situations are no longer present. Grammar knowledge, which was previously assessed through single multiple-choice questions, is now integrated into reading comprehension and cloze tests.
According to Ms. Nhung, incorporating grammar questions into reading comprehension requires students to thoroughly study and understand the usage of grammatical points so that they can not only recognize them but also apply them in the context of the reading passage.
The new exam structure places a strong emphasis on reading comprehension skills and requires students to have a broader vocabulary. Therefore, during the review process, students need to cultivate and accumulate a wide range of vocabulary on various topics, especially those outside of the textbook.
Besides requiring knowledge of grammar and vocabulary, generally all sections of this year's English exam require students to have good reading comprehension, critical thinking, and logical analysis skills.
