At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Duong presented Decision No. 1517-QD/TW dated August 27, 2024 of the Central Party Secretariat on appointing comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On the same afternoon, at the 20th Session of the 14th Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council (Special Session), Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huy Dung was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
