Passenger buses violated speed limits 450 times this month.

In Da Nang, within one month, a passenger bus operating on a fixed route with license plate 43B - 038.89 belonging to the Hai Van Transport Service Cooperative violated speed limits 450 times.

On June 23, the Da Nang Department of Transport announced that it had revoked the operating permits of 55 vehicles belonging to 35 transport companies in the area due to speeding violations in the previous month. In addition to the passenger car mentioned above, there was also a container truck that violated the speed limit 221 times, and a fixed-route bus that violated it 191 times.

These are the cumulative traffic violations on the route over a month, based on data provided by the Vietnam Road Administration. Vehicle tracking devices installed on commercial transport vehicles continuously transmit data to this agency; each time a driver exceeds the speed limit, it is recorded as a violation. However, the police have only issued fines for speeding violations detected by cameras so far, not through the vehicle tracking system.

Based on vehicle tracking data from the Vietnam Road Administration, the local Department of Transport will revoke the vehicle permits of the violating vehicles. These vehicles will be prohibited from participating in transport business activities for a period of two months.

In April, the Da Nang Department of Transport also revoked transport permits for 57 vehicles that were speeding.
