Passenger cars violated speed limit 450 times in a month

Da Nang Within one month, the passenger bus running on a fixed route with license plate 43B - 038.89 of Hai Van Transport Service Cooperative violated the speed limit 450 times.

On June 23, the Da Nang Department of Transport announced that it had revoked the badges of 55 vehicles belonging to 35 transport units in the area due to speeding violations last month. In addition to the passenger car, there was also a container truck that violated 221 times and a fixed-route vehicle that violated 191 times.

This is the cumulative number of violations on the route in one month from data provided by the Vietnam Road Administration. The journey monitoring device installed on the transport service vehicle currently continuously transmits data to this agency, each time the driver steps on the gas pedal exceeding the speed limit, it is recorded as a violation. However, the police have only fined speeding violations via cameras and have not yet fined them according to the journey monitoring system.

Based on the journey monitoring data of the Vietnam Road Administration, the local Department of Transport revoked the vehicle badges of the violating vehicles. These vehicles will not be allowed to participate in the transport business for two months.

In April, the Da Nang Department of Transport also revoked transport badges from 57 speeding vehicles.
