According to the agreement, the two sides will coordinate to implement activities to share and update scientific knowledge (directly and online) focusing on information on pathology, prevention and treatment options. The focus includes: improving the capacity of medical professionals in proactively updating new information on disease burden, clinical trials and preventive treatment options for respiratory diseases and serious infections; improving knowledge and clinical experience for pharmacists in disease prevention and management through conferences; and upgrading real-world data on prevention and treatment, especially for patients with chronic non-communicable diseases, to develop an educational material system for Long Chau's AI platform, supporting medical staff to access information effectively.

Respiratory tract infections are a constant health threat, ranging from common illnesses such as colds, flu, sore throat, laryngitis to more serious illnesses such as bronchitis and pneumonia. It is worth noting that many diseases have similar initial symptoms such as mild fever, cough, sore throat, stuffy nose, which can easily cause confusion and make patients subjective. This is especially dangerous for children and the elderly - vulnerable groups and at risk of severe progression when infected. (1)

In addition, pharmacies have become a familiar “medical touchpoint” where many Vietnamese people come to get initial consultation(2), choose appropriate medication or receive necessary advice before going to a specialized medical facility. Pharmacists therefore play a key role in supporting the community in recognizing signs of illness, providing primary care guidance and contributing to reducing the burden on the health system.
