Pfizer and Long Chau cooperate to improve expertise for vaccination teams and pharmacies

(Dan Tri) - Long Chau pharmacy system and vaccination center signed a memorandum of understanding with Pfizer Vietnam. The program aims to improve the expertise of Long Chau's medical team nationwide.

This is a strategic step, continuing the journey of standardizing and improving the capacity of the team of doctors, pharmacists, and medical experts in the chain of vaccination centers and Long Chau pharmacies, contributing to realizing the goal of becoming an extension of the medical industry in community health care.

Within the framework of cooperation, Long Chau and Pfizer Vietnam will implement training programs, share and update scientific knowledge for medical staff across the system, combining direct and online forms.

Under the agreement, the two units will work together to enhance the capacity of medical professionals in proactively updating new information on pathology, disease burden, clinical trials and preventive treatments for respiratory diseases and serious infections. At the same time, the partners will also organize conferences to help Long Chau's medical core strengthen and improve clinical experience in disease prevention and management.

Long Chau also promotes joint efforts to carry out intensive, widespread, systematic and scientific training for medical councils, doctors, nurses and pharmacists... at vaccination centers nationwide. This effort not only demonstrates a long-term vision but also demonstrates positive and innovative actions in health care, putting people at the center, aiming to help prevent and improve health, contributing to a healthy Vietnam, reducing the burden of disease on the country's health system.

In addition to training, the two sides also upgraded real-world data on prevention and treatment, especially for patients with chronic non-communicable diseases, and jointly developed an educational materials system for Long Chau's AI platform, supporting medical staff to access information effectively and quickly.

Based on a solid foundation, the pharmacy plays a central role, a trusted health care place, while the vaccination center aims to create a solid defense line in prevention work. The close connection between these pillars helps Long Chau build a closed health care ecosystem, from prevention to treatment support, improving the quality of service to the community.
