Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company ( Thaco ) of Mr. Tran Ba ​​Duong has just announced a new update on charter capital.

Accordingly, the total charter capital is currently at VND30,510 billion. Of this, domestic private capital accounts for VND22,321 billion (equivalent to 73.2%), the remaining VND8,189 billion is capital of foreign investors (26.8%).

In the group of foreign shareholders, Singapore's Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited (JC&C) is holding the largest proportion with 26.6% of capital, equivalent to 813 million shares. The entire ownership is authorized to Mr. Cheah Kim Teck as representative. JC&C is also currently the largest shareholder of Refrigeration Electrical Engineering (REE) and holds more than 10% of shares in Vinamilk .

Besides JC&C, there are 107 other foreign investors contributing capital to the group, including many individuals of Korean nationality such as Jung Mihuyn, Kim Miae, Kim Heejung, Ko Young Ran, Bae Eun Jung...

Currently, the enterprise owns 6 member companies including: Thaco Auto (automobiles), Thaco Industries (mechanical and supporting industries), Thaco Agri ( agriculture ), Thadico (investment - construction), Thiso (trade - services) and Thilogi (logistics).

Regarding business activities, the latest report said that in 2024, the company achieved a profit after tax of VND 3,025 billion, an increase of 14% over the previous year. Undistributed profit after tax accordingly increased to VND 16,763 billion.
