Mr. Pham Hoang Son holds the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province.

(Dan Tri) - The new Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province expressed that he will devote all his efforts to building a strong, comprehensive, and honest government that serves the people and businesses.

On November 17, the 19th People's Council of Bac Ninh province held its 7th session to elect the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council approved the proposals to dismiss Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, as assigned and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, and introduced Mr. Pham Hoang Son to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Pham Hoang Son expressed that he will devote all his efforts to the collective of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province to focus on building a strong, comprehensive, honest, creative, and active government from the province to the grassroots level to serve the people and businesses.

The new Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province promised to strongly reform administrative procedures, improve the investment and business environment, minimize costs, keep the locality in the top group in attracting investment and business; develop high-tech industry, green industry associated with high-quality services, prioritize the formation and development of semiconductor production, semiconductor chips, robots, renewable energy, new materials...

The head of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee also mentioned the tasks of social infrastructure, health care, education , industry, energy, logistics, transportation, and public space. These include the Gia Binh International Airport project and the routes connecting Gia Binh Airport to key areas.

Mr. Pham Hoang Son was born in 1976, from Thai Nguyen province. He has a master's degree in agricultural science.

During his working process, Mr. Son held the following positions: Head of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission, Head of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Cadre Health Care Commission.

From December 2020 to February 2025, he was the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Thai Nguyen province. After that, he held the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Thai Nguyen province.

On July 1, he was elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province (new) for the 2021-2026 term.
