This is an activity within the program "Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school" implemented by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper to support and assist students in difficult circumstances, students in remote areas, border areas, and islands, to have more learning conditions.
At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 30 scholarships to 30 students in difficult circumstances (1 million VND/scholarship), 650 warm coats were given to students of Bu Prang Secondary School, Ama Trang Long Primary School and Le Dinh Chinh Primary School. All three schools are located in Quang Truc commune, a remote and border area of Lam Dong province, where people's lives are still difficult.

Mr. Hoang Dinh Truong, Principal of Bu Prang Secondary School, representing the three schools, shared that the school is located in a border commune of Lam Dong province, where there are many poor students with difficult circumstances. The meaningful gift from Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper in collaboration with Hue Minh Dang Investment Company Limited and sponsors will warm the children in the cold winter in the border area.


Speaking at the ceremony, Journalist Tran Van Phong, Head of the Representative Office of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper in the Central Highlands and South Central regions, said that over 50 years of establishment and development, with the responsibility of a Party newspaper, in addition to the task of information and propaganda, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper also carries out programs for the community and for the development of society. In particular, the newspaper always pays attention to students with difficult circumstances.
With the desire to encourage, motivate and create conditions for students to continue to try, strive, overcome difficulties and excel in their studies, in 2023, SGGP Newspaper launched the program "Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school". Expanding the content of the program "Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school", Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper continues to launch a meaningful and charitable activity within the program - called "Warm clothes to school", wishing to spread the spirit of sharing, love and support for students in remote and disadvantaged areas.






After more than 2 years, the program "Lighting up faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school" has mobilized more than 32 billion VND, deployed at 31 schools in 19 provinces and cities across the country.
