"Warm clothes for school" come to students in Lam Dong border area

On the afternoon of November 17, at Bu Prang Secondary School (Quang Truc Commune, Lam Dong Province), Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper coordinated with local authorities to organize a ceremony to present warm clothes and scholarships under the "Warm Clothes to School" program to students in remote areas with difficult circumstances.

This is an activity within the program "Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school" implemented by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper to support and assist students in difficult circumstances, students in remote areas, border areas, and islands, to have more learning conditions.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 30 scholarships to 30 students in difficult circumstances (1 million VND/scholarship), 650 warm coats were given to students of Bu Prang Secondary School, Ama Trang Long Primary School and Le Dinh Chinh Primary School. All three schools are located in Quang Truc commune, a remote and border area of ​​Lam Dong province, where people's lives are still difficult.

Mr. Hoang Dinh Truong, Principal of Bu Prang Secondary School, representing the three schools, shared that the school is located in a border commune of Lam Dong province, where there are many poor students with difficult circumstances. The meaningful gift from Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper in collaboration with Hue Minh Dang Investment Company Limited and sponsors will warm the children in the cold winter in the border area.
