4 tons of medicine and medical supplies for people in the flood-hit areas of Central Vietnam in time from Long Chau

On the morning of October 31, Long Chau Pharmacy System and Vaccination Center urgently mobilized 4 tons of medicine, health care products and essential medical supplies to rescue people in flooded areas in Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An and Quang Ngai.

The activity was coordinated by Long Chau with local health departments to provide timely support and share difficulties with people in the Central region who are being heavily affected by prolonged floods.

After the historic floods caused heavy damage in the provinces in the Central region, Long Chau Pharmacy System and Vaccination Center quickly mobilized 4 tons of medicine and medical supplies, in coordination with the local Department of Health to donate to people in areas in Hue, Da Nang , Hoi An and Quang Ngai. Accordingly, Long Chau supported 1 ton of medicine and medical supplies for Hue, 2 tons for Da Nang and Hoi An, and 1 ton for Quang Ngai, in order to promptly supplement the source of medicine and essential supplies to serve the health care of people in the flood-affected areas.

At the same time, in order to join hands to overcome the consequences and take care of people's health, Long Chau has accompanied Dan Tri Newspaper to give 1,000 medicine packages to people in the Central region. Each medical support package includes cold medicine, cough medicine, diarrhea medicine, topical medicine, Cloramin B, eye drops, vitamin C, alcohol to treat fungus, tinea versicolor, along with bandages, water disinfection tablets and many essential medical supplies.

Long Chau urgently mobilized 2 tons of medicine and medical supplies to give to people affected by storms and floods in Da Nang and Hoi An.

The activities were carried out to promptly support people in localities severely affected by floods, helping them to quickly stabilize their lives, and proactively prevent the risk of disease outbreaks after natural disasters. This is also part of Long Chau's continuous efforts, demonstrating urgent action, responding to the spirit of Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Resolution No. 282/NQ-CP of the Government, aiming at the goal of caring for and improving health, contributing to building a healthy community.

Thereby, representatives of the provincial health departments respectfully thanked the timely support of the pharmacy system and Long Chau vaccination center, and highly appreciated the proactive spirit and practical contributions of the unit in helping people soon stabilize their health and lives after the storm and flood.

Speaking at the reception, Director of the Department of Health Tran Kiem Hao sincerely thanked FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company for its timely support to the health sector and people of Hue city during this difficult period. He affirmed that this is a great source of encouragement, demonstrating the spirit of social responsibility and noble gesture of the enterprise towards the community, contributing to joining hands with the government and the health sector to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and protect people's health.

Long Chau cooperated with Hue City Department of Health to donate medicine and medical supplies to support Hue people affected by rain and floods.

The donated items include flu medicine, essential treatment drugs, Cloramin B and medical supplies for on-site health care, supporting people in conditions of deep flooding, power outages, traffic disruption and difficulty in moving.

Accompanying Dan Tri Newspaper, Long Chau gives 1,000 medicine bases to people in the Central region.

With the spirit of sharing and community responsibility, Long Chau staff strived, not afraid of difficulties, transporting medicine at night to quickly bring medicine to areas affected by landslides and flash floods, ensuring timely support for people.
