Long Chau donated 1 ton of medicine and medical supplies to support flood victims in Hue.

On the morning of October 31, Long Chau Pharmacy System and Vaccination Center urgently and quickly provided 1 ton of medicine, health care products, and essential medical supplies to people in flooded areas in Hue, joining hands with people in the Central region to overcome the consequences of prolonged floods.

After the historic flood caused heavy damage in Hue, Long Chau quickly and proactively sent a team of staff to the area to survey and grasp the reality, and at the same time mobilized 1 ton of medicine and medical supplies, coordinated with the City Department of Health to give to people in the "flood center" areas. The activity aims to support people to respond promptly and prevent the risk of disease outbreaks after natural disasters.

Long Chau cooperated with the City Department of Health to donate medicine and medical supplies to support Hue people affected by rain and floods.

The donated items include flu medicine, essential treatments, Cloramin B and many medical supplies to support wound treatment and on-site health care, especially necessary in the context of many areas still being deeply flooded, without power and traffic being cut off.

It is known that over the past week, in the localities of the Central region, there has been a heavy rain lasting for many days over a wide area. Heavy rain, combined with high tides, floods on the Bo River (Hue), Thu Bon River ( Da Nang ) have exceeded historical flood levels up to now, many other rivers in the region have exceeded alert level 3, causing deep flooding over a large area in many communes and wards, especially in Hue and Da Nang.

The Central region suffered heavy damage due to the impact of floods and rains.

As planned, today, October 31, Long Chau representatives will continue to give 3 tons of medicine and medical supplies to people in Da Nang, Hoi An and Quang Ngai, promptly supporting people to overcome the consequences, partly sharing difficulties, easing the pain to soon stabilize life.

Long Chau representative said that in addition to this urgent activity, Long Chau will still join forces with local authorities and units to implement many health examination and care programs, joining hands with people to rebuild and stabilize their health after natural disasters.

These urgent and practical actions are also clear evidence of the spirit of responding to Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Resolution 282/NQ-CP of the Government, aiming at the goal of caring for and improving health, contributing to building a healthy community.
