
According to initial statistics, Khanh Tho, Truong My and Khanh Thinh villages suffered heavy damage. The tornado ripped off the roofs of many houses and collapsed fences. In Truong My village alone, Ms. Tran Thi My Lan and Mr. Khuu Minh Dung were injured and both were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment that night.
According to the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Chien Dan commune, immediately after receiving information from the grassroots, the commune government mobilized militia, police and shock troops to the scene to support the people.

“The authorities focused on handling the obstacles on Highway 40B that were blown down by the wind, to ensure smooth traffic during the night. This morning, the commune authorities continued to inspect each area, review the extent of damage to compile a report and support people to overcome the consequences,” Mr. Huynh Tan Nhat added.
In Huong Tra ward, the tornado also damaged and tore off the roofs of many houses in this locality. Mr. Tran Trung Hau, Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Tra ward ( Da Nang city) said that the tornado occurred around 10 pm on November 16. At this time, the strong wind caused many houses to have their roofs blown off and collapse.

Initial statistics show that about 15 houses were affected, of which Hoa Lang Residential Group had 12 houses; Dong Hanh had 2 houses, Ngoc Bich had 1 house. Local authorities are calculating specific damages to encourage and help affected households to soon stabilize their lives.
